A well-known hunting property in east Arkansas attracted a $13.1 million sale.
The 1,625-acre Prairie Wings spread was purchased by Price Services Inc. of Monticello, led by Dick Carmical.
Who sold the property, on the eastern border of the Bayou Meto Wildlife Management Area?
Prairie Wings Properties LLC, led by Robert Hixson, Bo Busby and Brad Thomas.
In turn, Price Services sold the south impoundment and Prairie Wings lodge for $6.53 million to Prairie Wings South LLC, led by Conway businessman Brandon Adams.
We understand this deal also included about 530 acres of green-timber land.
That would mean that Price Services retained about 600 acres of green-timber land for hunting and 464 acres of farmland devoted to rice and row crops.
Lile Real Estate Inc. of Little Rock brokered these deals.
