Little Rock Hires CJRW's Luis Gonzalez as Communication, Marketing Manager

An account supervisor from Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods has joined the city of Little Rock as its communication and marketing manager.

City Manager Bruce Moore announced the appointment of Luis Gonzalez to the position Monday. In his new position, Gonzalez will lead the city's communications division and supervise the city's government access channel, LRTV. He will also be responsible for developing communication strategies for a wide variety of initiatives.

"(Gonzalez) has already served our city by working with our partners on sustainability and public parks programs," Moore said in a statement. "His background on public communication strategies will be a great match for our goals and objectives."

At CJRW, Gonzalez managed many of the agency's larger state and municipal accounts.

"I've lived in Little Rock for nine years, and within that period of time I have witnessed how much our community has grown," Gonzalez said in the statement. "I'm proud to call our capital city my home, and I'm ready to help the public learn about the great things our team is doing to improve our quality of life."

Gonzalez, a Panama City, Panama native, is a graduate of the University of the Ozarks.
