For the motor engineer position; the ideal candidate would have either manufacturing experience or design experience with electric motors of any size or type. A BS degree is strongly preferred or in lieu of that, 10 or more years experience in motor manufacturing. The preferred degree is in Mechanical Engineering. This is a technical position residing at the manufacturing plant but working with the design engineering group in another state. The employee will be working with new product development and product introductions to the manufacturing floor. Motor sample information will be conveyed to this person who will then assemble motor samples using the manufacturing processes. Documentation of production and design issues and problems are conveyed back to engineering for analysis. The position will also be assisting with inspection of incoming parts to the warehouse ensuring they meet the prints, are the correct part number and quantity.
