OK Foods currently has an opportunity for a Cost Director for the Live Production division. The Cost Director is responsible for all production and accounting transactions and reporting for the live operations (pullets, breeders, hatcheries, feed mills, and broilers). Develop actionable weekly, monthly, and YTD reports that reflect true operating cost. Maintain and manage the M-Tech reporting of live production data. Research variances of actual expenses compared to previous periods or to business plans. Provide Agristats reporting systems with weekly data. Qualified candidates should possess the following: -Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field -Candidates MUST HAVE LIVE EXPERIENCE -Ability to work with live managers to help them better understand variances in their operating costs -Skills to assist the controller on live cost forecasting and other special projects -Skills to prepare journal entries, post to the ledger, and reconcile to the M-Tech system -Knowledge track inventories in the farms, hatcheries, and feed mills -Skills to reconciled live operations balance sheet accounts -Ability to review feed mill shrink reports with mill managers for accuracy -Skills to liaise with multiple departments within the organization at a variety of levels -Skills to prepare various government statistical census reports, various month end reports, and Agristats reports for all live areas of the organization Please submit resumes and salary history to mstrong@okfoods.com.
