Description The company is engaged in the development and support of shopper engagement solutions enable retailers, merchants, and restaurants to recognize, personalize, and engage shoppers directly via the customer’s mobile device and interactive applications. The shopper engagement platform utilizes a proprietary mobile-enabled cloud platform, in-store location technologies, and dynamic real-time purchase propensity analytics to allow retailers to deliver an on-demand personalized and enriched shopping experience. This enriched shopping experience means that shoppers stay longer, buy more, and increase store visits. The Database Developer will work within our extensive database infrastructure along with our analytic solutions to develop the enhanced targeting and personalization of our engagement platform. This position must have extensive experience working with datasets consisting of transaction data. A good working knowledge of HTML, CSS is a plus. The measure of success will be predicated on the ability of the Company to have developed the most informative, flexible, and robust personalized recommendation capabilities in the market, able to drill down and understand at a glance the effectiveness of the company’s engagement solutions and efforts. Key Expectations & Responsibilities: •Be the expert technical contributor for the Database Driven personalization engines and targeting solutions. •Work with key business owners to discover strategic uses of transactional data for development of enterprise available propensity analytics. •Work with the Analytics and Production teams to define and deliver specific database driven enhancements to the engagement solution platform. Education And Experience •Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related Technical Field. •A minimum of eight (8) years’ progressively responsible experience in the development of database driven informational and targeting systems. •A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience programming database solutions. •Experience supporting relational data structure environments. •Experience with Open Source Platforms •Experience with No-SQL and OLAP database architectures. •Experience with cloud-based system operations and ITIL best practices. Competencies, Skills, and Attributes: •Strong experience in applications development environments. •Proven ability to lead database projects, resolve issues, and develop standards. •Excellent analytical skills and deep experience in development. •Ability to engage, lead, and mentor technical team members. •Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Travel Requirements •Travel requirements are minimal and should never exceed 10-15% of work time. Location: Little Rock, AR office or Remote. *Position open to Principals only. No recruiting agencies*
