After a 40-minute talk about his life and football in general on Monday, along with answering questions from the Little Rock Touchdown Club audience, former Tennessee head football coach Philip Fulmer met with a trio of media for a few more thoughts.
Fulmer was asked about the spread offense and how its changing football, especially in light of Saturday's 52-41 Georgia win over Arkansas in Fayetteville. During the luncheon, Fulmer said of what he saw in the game, while the offenses were prolific, it "didn't look like SEC football."
Fulmer also talked about his future in coaching Monday. He made it plain during the luncheon and afterward that he wants to coach again after leading the Volunteers for 17 years, including winning the 1998 national championship.
