Arkansas forward Michael Washington had 25 points and 10 rebounds in an exhibition victory against Dillard. Washington appears to be one of few constants for the Razorbacks right now.

It could take some time to figure out this Arkansas basketball team.
Specifically, it could take a while to figure out just whom these Razorbacks are.
This team's identity and personnel could likely change from one game to the next over the next few months. We got a glimpse of that Monday as Arkansas opened its exhibition season with a 77-59 victory against Dillard.
Razorbacks who weren't on the floor contributing garnered most of the post-game attention. What follows is an attempt to make sense of it all.
*Guard Stefan Welsh was out because of what is best termed an "indefinite" suspension.
There is no timetable for his return and coach John Pelphrey confirmed that Welsh's absence could last until the end of the first semester.
Or it won't.
Pelphrey did not shed much light on Welsh's status, but did say the 6-foot-3 senior is practicing with the team.
Welsh, who averaged 11.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game, was not among the 2,279 on hand in Bud Walton Arena.
*Freshman forward Marshawn Powell was out with illness. Powell practiced prior to the game, but was running a fever and got the night to rest.
