How often does a guy score 28 points, grab 12 rebounds dish out six assists and get overlooked? That's exactly what happened for Arkansas' Jemal Farmer.

ARKANSAS 130, ALCORN STATE 68
WHY THE RAZORBACKS WON
It wasn't a one-man show, but how about Rotnei Clarke? He hit an SEC and school record 13 threes, scored 51 points. He did all this without Michael Washington (foul trouble) drawing double teams in the first half and without Courtney Fortson (suspension) running the point all game. Arkansas also showed good chemistry and selfless play, especially Julysses Nobles, who finsished with nine assists and only 2 turnovers.
GAMEBREAKER
Clarke made shots all game long, but with 5:16 to go he hit 51 points and broke the school and SEC record for three-pointers made in a game with 13. He left the game and got a standing ovation and chant - as well as a hug from John Pelphrey for his efforts.
OH, AND HE ALSO PLAYED WELL
How often does a guy score 28 points, grab 12 rebounds dish out six assists and get overlooked?
That's exactly what happened for Arkansas' Jemal Farmer. He turned in one of the more impressive debuts in Razorback history, but hardly anybody noticed.
Clarke stole the show with his record-setting performance, but Farmer played well. He turned in a number of highlight reel-worthy plays, including a one-handed dunk with 14:42 left in the half that pushed Arkansas up 23-6.
EARLY EXIT
Michael Washington was whistled for two fouls in the first 46 seconds of the game and headed to the bench with 19:14 to go.
Washington, an all-SEC performer, still finished with 14 points. He played 17 minutes and also grabbed five rebounds.
THE GOLFER
Due to depth issues, Stephen Cox got into the game quickly, coming in with just 17:26 to go in the first half. That being said, he made quick and strong contributions to the team by drawing a charge and making an assist to Clarke who's three put Arkansas up 16-6 at the time. He actually logged more minutes (eight) in the first half than Washington (five).
