Two-Minute Drill: Arkansas 56, Troy 20

Will Flowers
Dennis Johnson has accumulated more kick return yards than any other Razorbacks. He's got 1,783 yards, eclipsing current Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones.

ARKANSAS 56, TROY 20

WHYARKANAS WON Troy was simply no match for the Razorbacks, who piled up 592 yards of total offense. Quarterback Ryan Mallett completed 20 of 30 passes for 405 yards and five touchdowns and the Razorbacks had three running backs rush for scores and they finished with 216 yards rushing. Defensively, the Razorbacks gave up a lot of yard, but not many points in a game they dedicated to ailing defensive coordinator Willy Robinson.

RECORD NIGHT
Is there a record Ryan Mallett doesn't own after Saturday's game?

OK. Mallett doesn't actually have them all yet, but he set or tied four different records in going 20 of 30 for 405 yards and five touchdowns.

Following Saturday's game Mallett has 2,882 yards this season, breaking Clint Stoerner's record of 2,629.

Mallett completed his 141st pass without an interception. Stoerner previously held the record at 134.

For the second time this year Mallett threw for five touchdowns. He tied his own record and also tied Stoerner for most 300-yard passing games in a season with 4.

Oh, and there are two regular season games and presumably a bowl appearance left.

Mallett predictably downplayed the accomplishments.

"We got the win. I'm always going to tell you that we got the win and that's the most important thing," Mallett said. "We're bowl eligible and we're ready to go bowling, but we've got to go play Mississippi State first and then go to LSU, and we're trying to win out so we've got to go to work tomorrow and Monday."
