Full Court Press: Arkansas 102, LeMoyne-Owen 69

ARKANSAS 103, LEMOYNE OWEN 69
WHY THE RAZORBACKS WON
Arkansas hit 56.1 percent of its shots, getting some easy transition opportunities, while LeMoyne Owen connected on just 33.7 percent of it shots. Arkansas picked up 16 steals (to the Magicians' five) and scored 26 points of turnovers. That helped the Razorbacks offset a 52-40 disadvantage.

KEY MOMENT
Rotnei Clarke
, who was the hot hand in the first half of the game with 12 points, helped continue an eventual 23-6 Arkansas run with 14:09 to go in the half, putting the Razorbacks up 64-53 with a layup, foul, and made free throw.

Arkansas would finish the run leading by 19 points. Clarke's and one play got the crowd back in the game and kept Arkansas up by double digits the remainder of the game.

NOBLES STARTS
For the second straight exhibition game, Arkansas tested a no Courtney Fortson lineup against a lesser team - as Julysses Nobles got the nod at point guard against LeMoyne-Owen.

Nobles finished with only four points, but he was steady at point guard. He had eight assists and only two turnovers.

Fortson is among a number of players expected to be handed suspensions next week. Arkansas will have to play without him and Nobles will get the nod in Fortson's absence.

YES HE DID
Brandon Mitchell
just might help this team.

Mitchell, who is a scholarship football player, finished with eight points in eight minutes. He hit 4 of 4 free throws and ignited the crowd with two-handed dunk off a steal near midcourt.
