UA UP NEXT: Texas Longhorns Could Be Short For Tuesday Game With Arkansas
Posted at 8:32:44 AM by Chris Bahn

Texas could likely be without senior forward Connor Atchley when the Longhorns face Arkansas on Tuesday in Fayetteville.

Atchley, the Austin-American Statesman reports, required between 20-30 stitches after cutting his tongue in the Longhorns' Friday victory against Appalachian State.

Coach Rick Barnes said Sunday he did not know if Atchley would be able to play Tuesday at Arkansas.

Atchley left the game after getting fouled while attempting a reverse layup with 15:25 left in the game.

Barnes said Atchley missed practice Saturday and would not practice Sunday.

Atchely, 6-10, has made some contributions this season. He's playing 22 minutes per game and averaging 6.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 blocks.
