Out of D-Mac's shadow, Jones Shines: Jerry Jones may have a golden egg with his new stadium, but the Cowboys also have a weapon in the wings in former Razorback Felix Jones. The Cowboys' playbook has a few changes this year to see to it that Jones receives more touches on the ball this season. Jones should get some looks at receiver and even take some snaps in the Cowboys newly introduced "Razorback" formation. Oh yeah, he can run the ball too.
Hillis Shows Broncos Homegrown Flavor: Former Razorback Peyton Hillis is starting to receive favor in the Broncos franchise for the simple the fact that he got to pick the team's warm-up music at training camp yesterday. The self-described country boy, Hillis faced huge opposition from teammates after picking songs such as Alabama's "Song of the South". It just goes to show, you can take a man out of the South, but you can't take the South out of the man. See a snippet of the warm-ups here.
NFL Indentifies Enemy and It Is Twitter: The New York Times takes an inside look at how the new internet craze, Twitter, is affecting pro football and its secrecy. After several players started posting during team meetings and practices, many teams are starting to ban Twitter usage. Teams are scared of losing their sacred privacy, but we sure love the extra insight from players when it comes time for it. Just think about all the Twitter posts that have fueled our summer until football season rolls around. Soon enough...

It may not be live, but it may cool the craving: The Razorbacks' heated 2008 game versus Ole Miss will be replayed tonight on CSS (Comcast channel 23) at 7:30 p.m. We all remember the result, but it should be good fuel for the fire to carry into the upcoming season.
