a preseason poll of SEC Coaches. Then we stopped and thought about it: Ranking him any higher would have been tough considering he's yet to produce in the league. Plus, what's the difference between being Nos. 6 or 8 or 10 or 12 in a league that features five coaches with national titles and four with NFL experience?

10. Bobby Petrino, Arkansas. If you are looking for warm and fuzzy, keep looking. But if you are looking for calculating and clever, Petrino is your man. His track record speaks for itself. Petrino took Louisville to places where it never had gone. Now, he's coaching an SEC program with big resources. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Yeah, Petrino is gonna build a power in Fayetteville.
Agree with it or disagree, this list is perfect for the spring. Actual football won't be played for another four months, but it's a great conversation starter and a way to pass the time until real football talk can begin.
