All we did was put the words "Steve Spurrier" into a Google image search to find some clip art for today's Outhouse feature. It seemed like a pretty innocent thing to do and besides, we keep the Safe Search function locked on pretty tight.
So you can imagine our horror/delight when we realized that the South Carolina football coach has been the inspiration of many an artistic Gamecock fan.
Let's start with this one:

Listen closely because we know the holidays are coming up. For just $259 plus shipping and handling, you can own an autographed print of the above painting. This piece of art by Tom Gallo was commissioned for Spurrier's first season at South Carolina, and the name of this piece is called "Let The Fun Begin..." If fun means "being attacked from behind by a hyperactive rooster," then yes, the fun has begun for Steve Spurrier. You'll need to hurry to see if any of these prints are left from its original run of 950. Suitable for framing.
"Let The Fun Begin..." was painted by an obvious professional. I mean, he's got his own toll-free number and everything. The next piece of art though seems to have been created by a layman just like you and me:

We have been up and down the Information Highway looking for more information about the source of this amazing painting and have come up with nada. Maybe it's for the best. Maybe this painting of Spurrier yet again being attacked by a feral rooster was meant to be enjoyed by all. Without a name to put as the painter of this piece, see, we all can claim credit for it.
(On second glance, maybe it's Spurrier who's attacking the gamecock in that one.)
Finally, not all Spurrier pictures have to have flying fowl in them. We found this one commemorating the ol' ball coach's Florida days:
Frankly, we're disappointed. There's no alligator coming out of nowhere with its mouth open. Just Spurrier, Danny Weurfel, and a couple of trophies. And oh yeah, a commemorative coin. We expected more from the Sunshine State.
Even this one is pretty dull, though we do enjoy the "Spurrier Towers Over All" motif of it:
In the interest of fair play, we closed one eye and did a Google image search for "Bobby Petrino Art" and "Bobby Petrino Painting" and came up with nothing. We even closed both eyes and did similar searches with Houston Nutt's name (only the familiar photoshops showed up, art unto themselves as well.)
However, we are really peeved that we missed this one during Arkansas' prep week against Alabama:
