It's always difficult to impossible to answer such questions (as I'm sure you already know...) because to much relies on the information you don't have. You can only speculate. My speculation? Good programs like Arkansas always respond to challenge. We would have risen to the challenge. What the final results would have been no one can know for sure. You obviously believe the Hogs would have failed to rise to the challenge. Me, as already stated, not so much. Would your question be a fair one for, say, Ole Miss?

The above is simply not acceptable to the majority of Seminole Nation. They're used to MUCH better; conference championships are expected, not hoped for. They merely provide the backdrop to the annual quest for the NC (or so the fans imagine, and for a long time there, that fantasy was the reality--but no longer, as was my point).

I love strength, size and speed. What I was trying to say, which evidently I didn't do very well was: Sometimes a 3 star recruit will wind up being better than a 5 star recruit if the 5 star recruit can't make grades, had little or no upbringing(shoplifting,raping,carring gu...

What I was trying to say, which evidently I didn't do very well was: Sometimes a 3 star recruit will wind up being better than a 5 star recruit if the 5 star recruit can't make grades, had little or no upbringing(shoplifting,raping,carring guns etc.) or in HS relied on his natural ability and has no work ethic. Yes, I agree I would much rather have a 4 or 5 star recruit than a 2 star recruit everyday. I was merely trying to state that in these early stages of recruiting it really doesn't matter where we are ranked. When the dust settles BP will have his share of 4 star recruits.

Most coaches worry about being fired, if I were Ar I would worry about coaches quitting if I had to try to coach that bunch of fools playing basketball. If at the end one team is ranked 8th in recruiting and one is ranked 16th in recruiting I believe there is very little difference in the 2 because some recruits pan out and some recruits don't

If it's because Ar can't recruit with the big boys explain how BP managed to get the offense on track so fast. I don't know if you think you're being funny or what but try not to be a condescending ass so much. Bruce doesn't need a 'mulligan' from you (nor do I, for that matter...) as a quick perusal of the offensive stats year to date in the SEC will reveal:

Total Offense-2
Pass Efficiency-2
Pass Offense-1
Rush Offense-9

As you can see, Arkansas' offense is indeed on the right track. Only one area needs work and I believe that area will be addressed before the end of the season. Did we ever rank so high in Total Offense under Nutty?

Using the losses in which our offense didn't perform very well to 'prove' your point is just a straw man argument. As we well know from the OM game last year and the Georgia and Florida games this year, much more than just performance goes into winning/losing.  

Right now I would say Ar is 1 lineman and 2 defensive backs from being 6-2, possibly even 7-1.  

We need Thamail Morgan. He is a bad ass. He will go pro after college. He is a force to be reckoned with.

Even then, with good care and good choices (i.e. give up on Nutty; he's certainly bad for your health and cut back on that mexican food: tough on the digestion) you should be able to see the Hogs get right up there with the Big Boys.

There you again, abusing the facts. What about Auburn, Georgia, Alabubba, Florida, and your personal favorite: Ole Piss? Our stats from those games are figured into those rankings as well, you know. I wouldn't characterize any of those teams as JV...well maybe Ole Piss. Admit that Bruce was right; Arkansas' offense is definitely on the right track (and no snide left-handed compliments this time...do it right now).

By all means do so but...do it for everyone else as well. If all the teams remove their 'padding', I doubt the stats would be that much impacted, if at all.

You do realize its like four months before the end of recruiting, right? And that in his time at Arkansas, CBP has shown a tendency to finish strong in recruiting? I also take it you'll be going with the Rivals evaluation of the Hogs recruiting class this year (since Scout already has us at 39)? Even though they've treated us rather well in this regard recently? At least better than Scout...or are you merely going to go by the least complimentary ranking and thus attempt to prove your point that way? Really you should hitch your rickety wagon to one or the other. I'll be happy to go with either Rivals or Scout; spare us espn for obvious reasons.
