Missouri State Brings ASU Home Win Streak To An End

Anthony Downing came off the bench to score 15 points and lead Missouri State to a 77-46 victory over Arkansas State on Tuesday night. The victory ended a 13-game home win streak for ASU.

Full-Court Press: Arkansas State 71, UALR 63

Arkansas State clinched at least a share of the Sun Belt Conference West title with a 71-63 victory against UALR on Saturday. Jim's Notebook: Arkansas State, UALR Jockey for Tournament Positions for Hot Springs

If the Hot Springs organizers could have their way, Arkansas State's and UALR's men's basketball teams would be in opposite sides of the Sun Belt Tournament bracket, all the way to the championship game on March 8. Usually, they find themselves playing early, like last year's terrific tussle that wasn't decided until the final minutes.
