The Arkansas Razorbacks filled a need at linebacker with the commitment of Myke Tavarres, a native of Oregon who said the Fayetteville atmosphere was the big factor, not distance from home, in choosing Arkansas instead of Arizona. Tavarres was also comfortable with Razorbacks assistant Taver Johnson.

Arkansas has secured a commitment from junior college wide receiver Demetrius Wilson. Wilson (6-3, 180) chose the Razorbacks over offers from schools including Akron, Arizona, Arizona State and Tennessee.
