The event was held at War Memorial Stadium.

Miracle Ball

Titled “New Beginnings,” the Chinese New Year-themed Miracle Ball took place in Children’s Hall on the Arkansas Children’s Hospital campus. The décor featured a set designed by The Rep’s Mike Nichols and floral designs of cherry blossoms, roses and orchids by Tanarah Haynie of Tanarah Luxe Floral. Guests enjoyed an Asian-inspired menu created by Capers, entertainment by the Tom Tiratto Orchestra and premiere silent and live auctions, the latter of which included a diamond and ruby necklace and earring set from Jones & Son. Jennifer and Patrick Schueck served as event chairs; presenting sponsors included Schueck Steel, Rebecca Rice & Associates, The Stephens Group and Jones & Son Fine Jewelry. Craig O’Neill and Thomas Blackmon served as emcees for the evening, which raised more than $530,000 for the hospital’s programs. Also notable, the Murphy Miracle Match raised more than $88,000 to fund a music therapy program at ACH, which will be the first program of its kind in the state.

G.G. and Chad Millard were the event chairs; Rebecca Rice & Associates was the presenting sponsor. The event, which was put on by the ACH Auxiliary, raised $100,000 to benefit the hospital.
