More than 1,700 attendees were at the 12th annual Ragin’ Cajun Bash to benefit CARTI. Over 6,200 pounds of crawfish were served and more importantly over $142,000 was raised to benefit CARTI cancer patients.

As part of the annual Festival of Trees, CARTI hosted its Festival of Fashion runway fashion show at the Statehouse Convention Center. The show featured looks from 18 local boutiques, and Sonia Worsham was honored as the style icon.

Part of CARTI’s Festival of Trees, Festival After Dark featured live entertainment from DJ G-Force along with food provided by central Arkansas’ most popular pubs and restaurants. The event was held at the Statehouse Convention Center and honored Larry Sturdivant.

Part of CARTI’s annual Festival of Trees, the black-tie Tux ’n Trees featured fine dining, dancing to Dizzy 7 and live and silent auctions. The event was held at the Statehouse Convention Center, and proceeds benefited CARTI’s mission of providing excellent cancer care in Arkansas.

All That Jazz

Presented by BHP Billiton, CARTI’s annual All That Jazz featured auctions, a wine raffle, music, food, open bar and more. Funds raised benefited CARTI’s Patient Assistance Fund, which provides patients with fuel vouchers and housing assistance, emotional counseling and more.

Contractors See Construction Business Pick Up in 2014

In general, 2014 was a year of increase among the biggest general contractors in Arkansas. Eighteen out of 32 firms that reported updated revenue figures for the largest commercial contractors list recorded year-over-year gains.
