Filmmaker Courtney Pledger Named Executive Director of Arkansas Motion Picture Institute

Filmmaker and Little Rock native Courtney Pledger has been named executive director of the Arkansas Motion Picture Institute, a nonprofit organization founded in 2011 to provide leadership in film education and support growth and excellence in film, television and digital media. Her first assignment: Interim director of the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival planned for Oct. 12-21.
