Quinta Funderburk’s commitment to Arkansas football came into question after he missed six spring practices last month. Funderburk was a mid-term enrollee from high school and seemed to be wavering on the decision he made. It’s hard to question the freshman wide receiver’s loyalty now. In fact, you could say Funderburk’s commitment to the Razorbacks is, uh, a cut above anybody else.
Arkansas tailback Knile Davis was one of the top rushing threats in the Southeastern Conference this year. He had a late-season surge with 889 yards over the final six games and finished with 1,183 for the season. Yet Davis didn’t get included as a first-team all-SEC coaches pick. That led to Davis’ inclusion on a list of Top 5 most underrated players compiled by Dr. Saturday, the college football blog for Yahoo! Sports.
