Bank of the Ozarks acquired more than 46 acres of mostly undeveloped property this summer, in preparation for its new headquarters. Those deals on the western end of The Ranch development totaled more than $12.5 million.

Bank of the Ozarks has put about 44 acres under contract for a new corporate headquarters campus in west Little Rock. The company intends to pay $12.7 million for property on the western end of The Ranch. First-phase construction of a 180,000-SF building is expected to begin late this year or early 2017.

Value of $1 Million-Plus Deals Jumps 70 Percent

The number of $1 million-plus commercial real estate deals in Pulaski County didn’t increase significantly during 2014. But the same can’t be said for the dollar total of the transactions, which ballooned by a whopping 70 percent compared with 2013.
