by Chris Bahn 11/8/2011 9:00 pm

One of the byproducts of Arkansas’ offensive system is the way it showcases different players from week-to-week. Any wide receiver is capable of a big game and often the go-to for the Razorbacks changes by game. There might be no better example than the fact Joe Adams and Jarius Wright are each closing in on the career receptions record for the Razorbacks. Adams ranks No. 3 on the career receptions list at Arkansas with 151. Wright is right behind him at 150.

But… Those two teams picked ahead of the Razorbacks overall were also picked ahead of them in the brutal SEC West. Arkansas earned 18 votes for finishing as the league champion. But Alabama (98) and LSU (29) each finished ahead of the Razorbacks, who are viewed by some as a contender for the league with an opportunity to compete for a national title.
