“Southern Hearts” was the theme for the 2013 Central Arkansas Heart Ball, presented by Baptist Health, chaired by LuAnn and Rick Ashley and held at the Statehouse Convention Center. The evening began with a Premier Preview Reception in the Wally Allen Ballroom’s North Foyer, offering VIP guests an early peek at featured auction items. After the general reception, guests enjoyed dinner, followed by Sweetheart presentations, honoree presentations, a live auction and dancing to The Rockets. Dr. Robert Morrow was honored with the Worthen-Cornett Award, Greg Hatcher with the Jerry Davis Corporate Award. The event drew an audience of 920 guests and raised more than $825,000 to benefit heart health programs and education.
