The Celebration of the Life and Legacy of Reverend Hezekiah Stewart Jr. recognized its namesake for the work he has done for the community. Proceeds from the event supported the Watershed and the Progressive League of College Station.

For almost four decades Rev. Hezekiah Stewart has dedicated his life to helping those less fortunate in our community. He founded The Watershed, the "world's first social hospital" in 1976 at Mt. Nebo AME Church in College Station.
