Don’t bother looking for a Wal-Mart in the south Arkansas town of Warren. To find one of those you have to drive 20 or so miles east to Monticello. Same thing with a local movie theater. Warren doesn’t have one of those either. Know what the South Arkansas town of 6,000 does have? A history of producing great college wide receivers and two of the top 150 draft picks in the recent NFL Draft. Former Arkansas Razorbacks and Warren teammates Jarius Wright and Greg Childs were fourth-round picks by the Minnesota Vikings, further establishing Warren’s tradition as a hotbed for wide receiver talent in Arkansas.

One of the byproducts of Arkansas’ offensive system is the way it showcases different players from week-to-week. Any wide receiver is capable of a big game and often the go-to for the Razorbacks changes by game. There might be no better example than the fact Joe Adams and Jarius Wright are each closing in on the career receptions record for the Razorbacks. Adams ranks No. 3 on the career receptions list at Arkansas with 151. Wright is right behind him at 150.

3-And-Out: Childs Contributing With Attitude, Blocking; Razorbacks Scale Back Practice

Greg Childs has seen a decline in his production this season at wide receiver. His attitude and blocking haven’t suffered, however. Currently he has just nine catches for 109 yards. Offensive coordinator Garrick McGee praised Childs for contributions in other areas and said the decline could be attributed to “coverages” teams are using against the Razorbacks.

Tyler Wilson threw for 260 yards and a pair of touchdowns to Jarius Wright, Joe Adams tied a Southeastern Conference record with two punt returns for touchdowns and No. 15 Arkansas defeated Missouri State 51-7 on Saturday.
