The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed only two lawsuits in the state this calendar year, continuing a recent trend line. In 2011, the EEOC filed six lawsuits in Arkansas’ federal courts and three the following year. Last year, the EEOC filed only two lawsuits against companies operating in the state.

The 70,400-SF Pinecrest Shopping Center in Brinkley was sold at auction back in May. The buyer in that $975,000 deal was Edprop Development Co. LLC, an affiliate of Edwards Food Giant.
