Lyon College Receives $1M Donation from Wilson Foundation

Lyon College has received a $1 million gift from the R.E. Lee Wilson Trust Foundation to help fund the construction of its new residence halls. The donation will go toward the construction of two residence halls that will accommodate 100 students each. The project is to be completed in fall 2015.

Insurance Claims Increasingly Fought in Court

U.S. District Court records show that in the Arkansas federal courts in 2011 there were 93 lawsuits related to insurance claims. In 2012, the number rose to 99. And through Oct. 31, 77 lawsuits involving insurance claims have been filed.
