Jared McKinney wasted little time in signing with the Houston Astros. The Arkansas outfielder was drafted No. 940 overall by the Houston Astros on Wednesday and signed over the weekend. McKinney told reporters Thursday he felt it was time to pursue professional baseball after three years with the Razorbacks.

Dave Van Horn hasn't had time to reflect on the season that was quite yet, but that hasn't stopped the Arkansas baseball coach from looking ahead to what will be. The Razorbacks' season ended with a loss in the NCAA regional at Arizona State on Sunday. While the ending wasn't quite what Arkansas had hoped for, a 40-22 record marked the third straight year the program has reached at least 40 wins.
