Guests enjoyed beverages and dinner and a special presentation of the April issue of Little Rock Soirée, which featured a story on the Cancer Institute and RockStar Lounge.

The Museum of Discovery held Spark!, its annual celebration of science, technology and math, at the museum. Guests enjoyed food and drinks, interactive science stations and auctions. Tami and Dr. Brian Bean served as event co-chairs; Susan Hutchinson as honorary chair. Proceeds benefited MOD’s statewide educational programs.

Kevin Delaney Dazzles Museum of Discovery Visitors with Science Demonstrations

If you’ve been to the Museum of Discovery since the renovated space reopened in 2012, you’ve probably seen Kevin Delaney, Visitor Experience Director. He’s the guy who takes scientific principles and makes them explosively fun (literally explosive, sometimes). Delaney is such a science superstar that he’s even appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where he has made vortex cannons from trashcans, as well as a giant cloud that enveloped the entire studio.
