Susan and Nick Brown admit they had some strict criteria for a new home: more inside and outside space for entertaining, a circle and side drive for plenty of parking and separation, a circle or cul-de-sac street to avoid through traffic, a great backyard view — preferably over a golf course — a north-facing house for backyard shade, a relatively level lot but not boring, and a pool would also be nice. They found it all in Pleasant Valley.
The 5,328-SF house, which borders the Pleasant Valley Country Club Golf Course, is carried on the Pulaski County tax rolls at a value of about $750,000. The market value is said to be around $1 million.
Marge Schueck hosted a holiday tea for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Star ACHievers and their mothers at her Pleasant Valley home. Star ACHievers is a program that educates ninth grade girls about ACH, health-related careers and philanthropy.
