As of last week, almost 10 percent of federal court judgeships were vacant, including one created when U.S. District Judge Jimm Larry Hendren of Fayetteville took senior status on Dec. 31.

Obama, a native of Chicago, was looking to provide a chance for the Bears to be honored, since their original visit was cancelled. Who wouldn’t love that, right? CNN Anchor Talks White House Visit With Kodi Burns, Works In Plug For Razorbacks

CNN anchor TJ Holmes is apparently no different than most Arkansas fans. Holmes would like in-state talent to stay home and play for the Razorbacks. Holmes interviewed Auburn wide receiver Kodi Burns on CNN Saturday and the two discussed the Tigers’ recent visit to the White House. Burns, who played at Fort Smith Northside, presented President Barack Obama with a framed jersey and Auburn helmet.
