The vintage ballpark's demolition continues this week as the outfield wall, Ray Winder's signature feature, is brought down. It used to protect traffic, now it is stopping traffic, while the demolition can't stop the memories.

Interstate 630 Lanes To Close Near Ray Winder Field This Week

Crews dismantling the outfield fence at Ray Winder Field will be closing the westbound outside lane of Interstate 630 between Cedar Street and Fair Park Boulevard from 7 p.m.-6 a.m. Monday-Wednesday (July 9-11). More lane closures are planned for later this week.
