Playoffs in the state’s highest classification have been dominated by the West for most of the decade.

Arkansas High School Football Playoff Scores, Week 3: Bentonville, Fayetteville Advance in 7A

Springdale Har-Ber's reign in 7A is over following a 49-20 win by Bentonville, which sends the Tigers into next Friday's 7A state championship game against Fayetteville. The Bulldogs scores with 29 seconds left to overcome No. 2 seed Fort Smith Southside in Fort Smith in the other 7A semifinal. El Dorado advanced to next Saturday's 6A final, but it won't be against No. 2 Pine Bluff, which was shocked at home by Texarkana, 42-28. Camden Fairview and Greenwood will meet next Saturday in Little Rock in the 5A final after convincing wins on Friday.

The 7A and Natural State polls from ArkansasVarsity.com might have seen a shakeup last week at the top, but everything was calm this week. That's even despite No. 3 Bentonville's impressive 63-24 rout of previous Top 10 member Rogers Heritage on Friday. Conway and No. 2 Springdale Har-Ber continued on their winning ways, both rolling to 6-0 records. Har-Ber had been atop the poll until last week, which Conway took over the top spot by vote of the coaches who participate on the polling.
