UAFS Promotes Elizabeth Underwood to Associate Vice Chancellor (Movers & Shakers)

Elizabeth Underwood has been promoted to associate vice chancellor for government and university relations at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. Before her promotion last month, Underwood served as UAFS’ executive director for government and community relations and also spent seven years as the university’s director of alumni affairs.

Georgia Hale has been named provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs by the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, where she was most recently associate provost. Hale joined UAFS in 2004 as associate dean of the College of Business, becoming dean of the College of Applied Science & Technology in 2009.
