3 min read

New businesses are always opening their doors across Arkansas. Here is a roundup of some of the latest additions.

A New Aldi

Central Arkansas got another Aldi with the opening of a new store in Searcy. The location at 2550 E Beebe Capps Expressway joins a growing number of Aldi stores across the state.

At 43,560 SF, the store is smaller than other Aldi locations, a press release from the grocery chain stated. It officially opened Feb. 12.

Aldi Inc. purchased the property from Harding University for $1.26 million.

Another Aldi location is set to open in the region by the end of the year, according to the release.

Audi Dealership

An Audi dealership operated by Everett Automotive Group of Bryant is set to open in Rogers by early 2028.

It will be Audi’s first dealership in northwest Arkansas and second in Arkansas.

The new dealership will be located along Interstate 49 adjacent to Everett Volkswagen of Rogers.

“This is an exciting next step for our organization and for the Northwest Arkansas community,” Dwight Everett, owner of Everett Automotive Group, said in a press release. “We’re proud to add Audi alongside our existing dealerships and to create a state-of-the-art destination in Rogers that makes luxury sales and service more convenient than ever.”

The other Audi dealership is located at 12601 W. Markham St. in Little Rock and is operated by Parker Automotive Group of Little Rock.

Back To Vida, a vintage apparel company with more than 16,000 followers on Instagram, opened a storefront in downtown Little Rock’s South Main neighborhood in late 2025.

The store at 1423 S. Main St. is two stories and features a coffee bar. The space, managed by Moses Tucker Partners of Little Rock, was formerly occupied by Bliss Boutique.

“We’re a lifestyle clothing brand dedicated to sustainability, uniqueness and the revival of vintage inspiration designs,” the company’s website states.

Along with a focus on vintage Razorback apparel, the brand also creates its own products through Zero-Feeling Printing, which dyes fabric fibers directly rather than placing a layer on top like screen-printing.

American Elevator

Elevator support company American Elevator has expanded to Arkansas with a new office in Little Rock. American Elevator is a family company of Elevator Service Inc. of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The company will provide a full range of elevator services across Arkansas, including maintenance, repair, modernization, installation and emergency support.

Arkansas operations will be led by President Matt Wilson and elevator mechanic and operations lead Brian Bush. Both have industry experience and local market knowledge.

“We’re building a strong local team focused on safety, responsiveness and long-term customer partnerships,” Wilson said in a press release. “Backed by the resources of ESI, we’re well positioned to serve Arkansas with the level of service our clients expect and deserve.”

Fresh Coat Painters

A father-and-son duo has opened a residential and commercial painting business in Siloam Springs.

Joe and David Deitzer are opening a franchise location for Fresh Coat Painters of Cincinnati. The company has more than 190 franchise locations nationwide with plans to expand past 200 this year.

Joe Deitzer formerly worked as the executive chef at Camp Siloam and as content writer for J.B. Hunt. His father, David, has experience as a CFO and small business operator.

New Coffee Shop

R&M Coffee Bar & Cafe recently opened in downtown Little Rock.

The new restaurant and coffee shop at 221 W. Second St. is led by owner Ryan Williams and executive chef MaryAnn Strange. Williams and Strange also operate R&M Southern Eatery in downtown Conway.

Both locations operate under R&M Eatery Group, which offers catering, private dining and event services.

According to a recent Facebook post, the Little Rock cafe is in the process of applying for a liquor license.

“R&M Eatery Group isn’t just about food — we’re about community, culture and good energy,” the company’s website states. “From live music nights and themed brunches to pop-up shops and family-friendly events, we’re always cooking up something special at both our Conway and Little Rock locations.”
