David Allen has joined Arvest Bank of Bentonville as a treasury management sales adviser. Allen has 26 years of experience in the banking industry, 19 in treasury management. He will work in commercial banking to improve the use of working capital, increase efficiency and mitigate potential fraud risk.


The Arkansas State Bank Department has hired two new information technology staff members. Darla Bryant and Larry Tate have been hired as database specialists at the department’s Little Rock office.

Dalton Swindell has joined Quattlebaum Grooms & Tull of Little Rock as an associate. Swindell graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law and will be located in the firm’s Little Rock office, where he will concentrate on real estate transactions.

Dominic Dachille has been hired as an associate and will focus on individual, corporate, state and local taxation as well as estate planning and probate and trust administration, working out of the firm’s Little Rock office. Justin Lee has been hired as an associate and will focus on real estate, individual and business taxation, estate planning, and probate and trust administration. Joey McGhee has joined as a member of the firm focusing on business, real estate, estate planning and probate administration. Lee and McGhee will work out of the firm’s Rogers location.

Patty Sullivan ( Write On Fundraising)

Patty Sullivan has joined Write On Fundraising of Tulsa as a relationship manager for northwest Arkansas. Before joining Write On, Sullivan was the executive director of the Ozark Literacy Council of Fayetteville and a grant proposal writer.


James Cain is the new director of communications at Shorter College in North Little Rock. Cain will handle social media content creation and media outreach and act as a spokesperson for Shorter College.

Nicole Herndon ( National Park College Foundation)

Nicole Herndon was recently named a certified fundraising executive by CFRE International. Herndon is the executive director of the National Park College Foundation of Hot Springs. To earn the certification, she had to pass an exam and complete 80 hours of continuing education, among other requirements.

Joanna Hall ( University of Arkansas at Little Rock)

Joanna Hall has earned the Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator certification. Hall is the director of simulation and an assistant professor of nursing at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Hall is the first person at UA Little Rock to earn the certification and one of 21 certified individuals in Arkansas.

John Imig ( University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences)

John Imig is the new chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy. Imig is a vascular and renal biologist and joins UAMS from the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he was a professor, Eminent Scholar and inaugural director of its Drug Discovery Center.

Brooks Walthall ( Central Baptist College)

Brooks Walthall has joined Central Baptist College in Conway as vice president of enrollment management. He has 25 years of experience and most recently served as dean of workforce and continuing education at Southern Arkansas Community College in El Dorado. 


The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine has invested Tracie Harrison in the Alice An-Loh Sun Chair in Geriatric Nursing. Harrison is a professor in the UAMS College of Nursing and has more than 25 years of professional nursing experience.
