
Dr. Lauren David has joined the CHI St. Vincent Community Care East Clinic in Little Rock as a dentist. David, who joins the community clinic from DePaul Community Health Center, earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
Nicole Harrod has been promoted to director of clinical care and navigation at Arkansas Urology of Little Rock. Harrod, who has over a decade of experience in nursing, is the former clinical pathways nurse manager at Arkansas Urology and a registered nurse.
Dr. Ulriche McCurdy has joined CHI St. Vincent Primary & Convenient Care in Chenal as a pediatrician. McCurdy completed pediatric physician residency programs at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.
Bailey Pollock has joined Franks Dermatology of Little Rock as a physician assistant. Pollock worked as a medical assistant at Franks Dermatology in 2020 and graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a master’s in physician assistant studies. Pollock will examine, diagnose and treat patients under Dr. Hayden Franks.
Dr. Jean Salem has joined the staff at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton. He will offer bariatric, colorectal and other general surgical services.
Tenesha Barnes is the new assistant director of the Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership. As assistant director, Barnes will focus on policy development and strategic planning, as well as provide leadership in comprehensive prevention, treatment and recovery strategies for substance use disorders.
Sharon Silzell has been elected president of the Arkansas Association of College History Teachers, which advocates for and promotes the professional interests of higher education history teachers throughout Arkansas. Silzell is an associate professor of history at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Business has awarded 2022 Distinguished Alumni Awards to Brad Eichler and Chris Raper. Eichler, the head of investment banking at Stephens Inc. of Little Rock, has been named the Distinguished Alumnus of the Year. Raper, the chief strategy officer at Smiley Technologies Inc. of Little Rock, received the Dean’s Award for Excellence.
