David McClain ( Southern Bank)

David McClain has joined the board of directors for Southern Bank of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. McClain owns an insurance firm in Jonesboro and has served as a Jonesboro city council member for five years.

First Community Bank of Batesville has added two staff members. Jake Eddleman is a mortgage originator for the bank’s home lending division. Dewitt Yingling is a senior vice president, commercial lender and branch manager (pending regulatory approval) for the bank’s new Beebe branch. Yingling will oversee all Beebe operations.


Chris Cooley and Matt Dormer have joined Stephens of Little Rock as managing directors in its investment banking division. Both will focus on health and life sciences. Cooley has 28 years of experience and is transferring from Stephens’ equity research team. Dormer has more than 20 years of experience in the biotechnology industry and will work out of Stephens’ Boston office.

Maxim Applegate ( Think Rubix)

Maxim Applegate has been promoted to the role of operations and project manager for Think Rubix of Little Rock. Applegate will oversee projects across multiple studios at Think Rubix.
