Red Jacket Ball to Honor Bill Clinton for Public Service

The City Year Little Rock Red Jacket Ball will honor former President Bill Clinton at the annual event at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The ball, which will take place at the Little Rock Convention Center in Governors Hall IV, celebrates 10 years of City Year AmeriCorps members serving in Little Rock schools.

Clinton, this year’s honoree, will receive the Seven Generations Award, which recognizes his commitment to public service and improving the lives of people around the world.

Past honorees will also be at the event, including Jim Dailey, Pat Lile and Mike and Ginger Beebe.

City Year is a nonprofit that focuses on keeping students on track to succeed.
