With Red Alert Bid Over, Interest Piquing Over John Rogers Assets

Now that the curious bid by Red Alert Media Matrix is no more, activity has picked up from prospective buyers of the remaining assets collected by alleged serial fraudster John Rogers.

No names have surfaced yet, but interested parties have been performing due diligence.

Meanwhile, some sports memorabilia has moved through the auction circuit.

However, the overall quality and quantity of the merchandise aren’t what they were before Rogers officially exited the business.

In a report to the court, receiver Michael McAfee noted that:

“… many of the reputedly valuable items purchased by John Rogers or Sports Cards Plus Inc. were either sold before the receivership began or seized by the FBI as counterfeit. ...”
