Donald Wood has been hired as executive director of Just Communities of Arkansas. He succeeded Ruth D. Shepherd, who retired after 16 years with the Little Rock nonprofit.
Wood comes to JCA from Arkansas Hospice in North Little Rock, where he was vice president of development and executive director of Arkansas Hospice Foundation.
Rev. Jim Polk of Benton, Rev. Nathan Kilbourne of Sherwood and Rev. Michael Mattox of Rogers have been elected to the board of directors of Methodist Family Health of Little Rock.
Ann Rowell of Little Rock, Dan Rohrbaugh of Hope and Rev. Carl Palmer of Fayetteville have been elected to the board of directors of Methodist Family Health Foundation.
