You may have heard that Graffiti’s Italian Restaurant in Little Rock was sold. Unfortunately, a few of the details were garbled in the announcement.

The new owners are the family that owns La Terraza, the Venezuelan restaurant at 3000 Kavanaugh Blvd. in Hillcrest: Sarah Bolanos and her husband, Armando Bolanos, and Armando’s mother and stepfather, Ana Lara and Carlos Valdivieso.

They bought Graffiti’s from Patrick Dayer and David Jones. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed.

Sarah Bolanos told Whispers that the new owners weren’t yet ready to discuss their plans for Graffiti’s, though they plan “only to improve” the restaurant, at 7811 Cantrell Road. They’re having a “meet-and-greet” event at Graffiti’s from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 4 to solicit customer feedback. “We want to know what the customers think,” Bolanos said. “They’re the ones who’ve been going there for almost 30 years, and they’re the ones that matter.”
