Building, Land Sold to Religious Organizations

1 min read

The 2,160-SF All Star Glass & Radiation building at 1118 E. Washington Ave. in North Little Rock was razed following its sale to River City Ministry Inc.

The seller was Vonda V. Bailey, and the purchase price was $8,330.

A spokesman for River City Ministry said the organization doesn’t have any debt and has been buying affordable properties around its 1021 E Washington Ave. location as they become available.

River City Ministry has no plans for the properties it’s been buying but is cleaning them up to beautify the neighborhood. The spokesman said the building was razed because it was hazardous.

United Methodist Foundation Buys Land

Winrock Development Co., a division of Winrock Enterprises Inc. led by Russ McDonough III, has sold an undeveloped 4.61-acre parcel at the southeast corner of Wellington Hills Road and Wellington Village Road in Little Rock to the United Methodist Foundation of Arkansas.

The purchase price was $625,000.

A spokesman for the foundation said it intends to build a new office there because the organization has outgrown its current location at 5300 Evergreen Drive. He said the foundation does not have a construction timeline or estimated cost for the project.
