Entergy Arkansas has shifted some roles on its management team, moving Laura Landreaux from vice president of regulatory affairs to finance director, and elevating Tom Kennedy to Landreaux's old post.

Kennedy had been vice president of public affairs at the investor-owned utility since 2000, and Landreaux had been in charge of regulatory affairs since 2017. Kennedy's new title will be vice president of regulatory and governmental affairs.

Rick Riley, CEO of Entergy Arkansas, which serves about 700,000 customers in 63 counties across Arkansas, announced the promotions late Monday.

"Both Laura and Tom have had tremendous track records in their careers to date and have been valuable members of my lead team," Riley said in a statement. "These appointments allow us to keep our leadership team intact while giving both Laura and Tom an opportunity for growth."

Entergy Arkansas is a part of Entergy Corp., an integrated company focused mainly on electrical power production and retail distribution operating in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The parent company has nearly $11 billion in annual revenue and more than 13,000 employees, including some 3,500 in Arkansas.
