Arkansas Business is ending February with the highest number of paid print subscribers in the publication’s 34-year history.
Did we say good news? It’s near miraculous.
After some years of minor erosion in paid circulation coinciding with steady growth of online readership at ArkansasBusiness.com, Arkansas Business Publishing Group adopted a new strategy.
After 10 months, paid circulation is up by more than 20 percent.
“The response of our audience has been the most gratifying experience of my professional career,” Editor Gwen Moritz said.
“All readers are good readers, but paying subscribers are our most valuable readers, and nothing validates the work we’re doing like having a thousand more of them in less than a year.”
