Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects of Little Rock said Wednesday that David Porter had been named its new CEO.
Porter, a principal and an owner of the firm since 2001, has managed high-profile projects including the renovation and expansion of Robinson Center in Little Rock. He's currently overseeing two of the state's largest construction projects: the Little Rock School District's new Southwest High School and the Bank of the Ozarks' new headquarters.
"Our firm's commitment to both quality design and excellent value will continue to be at the core of the firm, as will our talented staff's dedication to innovation and exceptional client service," Porter said in a news release.
The firm, the second largest architecture firm in the state, has offices in Little Rock and Fayetteville. It has 47 employees, including 29 registered architects.
