Springdale is getting its first U.S. Pizza Co.

The husband-wife team of Hunter and Esther McClellan and their business partner Don Henderson, who have the franchises in Conway and Cabot, hope to have their 5,000-plus-SF restaurant open by sometime around the first of next year.

The restaurant — with what Hunter McClellan says will be a great patio — will be going into a new shopping center planned for 1139 Westside Village St., just off Highway 412.

Their goal, Hunter McClellan says, is to open three U.S. Pizza Co. restaurants in the next six years in the Springdale-Bentonville-Rogers area.

The general manager in Springdale will be a veteran U.S. Pizza employee, Alex Bohn.

Drew Weber, COO of U.S. Pizza, says the Springdale location will bring the total number of restaurants to 17, 10 company-owned and the rest franchises.
