Arkansas Research Alliance Names COO
Bryan Barnhouse

The Arkansas Research Alliance announced Wednesday the hiring of Bryan Barnhouse as its COO.

He previously served as the organization's vice president. Before joining the ARA, Barnhouse was director of economic development for Jefferson County.

According to a news release, his collaborations with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and close relationship with the National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR) have allowed the ARA to further unify the state’s five research campuses, government and business.

The ARA has hosted the annual Arkansas Bioinformatics Consortium and founded the ARA Academy of Scholars and Fellows, which is comprised of the state’s best researchers from Arkansas' research campuses and the NCTR.
