Impact Management Group of Little Rock announced Wednesday that Scott Pace will join the firm as a partner, effective Oct. 1.
He comes to IMG after more than 12 years with the Arkansas Pharmacists Association, most recently serving as the organization's executive vice president and CEO.
While at the APA, Pace worked with the legislature to pass scope-of-practice legislation for pharmacists and legislation to amend the Arkansas Constitution to require a pharmacist consultant be a part of the Arkansas medical marijuana dispensaries.
Most recently, he worked with Gov. Asa Hutchinson and the Legislature to pass legislation to license and oversee pharmacy benefits managers in Arkansas.
Pace is a licensed pharmacist and attorney.
He holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Arkansas State University, a doctor of pharmacy from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and a juris doctorate with high honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.
Pace served as consumer representative on the Arkansas State Medical Board from 2012-2015 and he serves on the Arkansas Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Advisory Panel.
